We are looking for a Legal Compliance Officer to ensure our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. As a Legal Compliance Officer, you will develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies. You will evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously. You will also revise procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues. Your role will include drafting, modifying, and implementing company policies, collaborating with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations, and assessing the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
You will be expected to keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control. You will also prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in legal guidelines and corporate governance best practices. They will be a professional of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete their duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business.
This position requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and a strong attention to detail. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in risk management and knowledge of industry standards is essential.
